Hashtags, Audio books, and Mr. Darcy? Oh, my!

Every week, I receive Laura Pepper Wu’s ‘Magic Mondays’ tip. This week’s tip is ‘put a hashtag on it.’ The intention is to use hashtags to spread the word about one’s books. Ideally, book-branded hashtags will spark curiosity among the social media networks; and not just Twitter, but Pinterest and Facebook as well.  Laura’s advice sounded good. I often use hashtags when tweeting. A favorite of mine is #Gratitude, which I use to express thanks for retweets, mentions, and favorable book reviews (just to name a few.) My other favorite hashtag is #JaneAusten.

I simply needed a way to take advantage of the ‘Magic Mondays’ tip in a manner designed to spark interest in my work, specifically my audio books. Currently, I have three audio books available on Audible.com, Amazon, and iTunes. By the end of summer, I will have seven audio books available on each of those venues.

You may have seen the promos for my audio books: Take Mr. Darcy everywhere you go!

What better opportunity to create a hashtag to help spread the word? I thought about using #TakeMrDarcyEverywhereYouGo -- but that’s a mouthful. So I decided to drop a few words.

Here’s what I have:

#TakeDarcyWithYou
#TakeDarcyEverywhere
#TDWY

I am quite undecided. I like all three, but if I had to choose only one, I suppose it would be #TakeDarcyEverywhere. What do you think? Which would you choose?
