Hooray! I Nano'd and Won!
I crossed the 2012 NaNoWriMo finish line on Saturday, November 24th. Hooray!
What an exciting journey. In the quest to pen a minimum of 1667 words a day, my muse offered up all sorts of twists and
turns. Seduction, embezzlement, kidnapping ... there’s also a forced carriage
accident.
I attribute my relative ease in writing over 50,000 words during the first twenty four days of November to a Savvy Authors workshop titled Make the most of NaNo that I participated in during
the month of October. I plan to participate in
another Savvy Authors workshop titled Now that you've Nano'd, now what? in January. One of the objectives of the workshop is to help writers make the most of their NaNo writing endeavor.
I can hardly wait to get started!
Seduction, embezzlement, and kidnapping?! Sounds like a great story!! :) I will be looking forward to hearing more of this story in the months to come!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jakki! That's the beauty of NaNoWriMo. I had to go beyond my comfort zone to envision each of those scenarios, but it was lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to providing updates on my progress. :-)
Congrats Pam, is Savvy Authors online?
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurel Ann! Yes, it's SavvyAuthors.com and it's an excellent resource. I don't know what I would do without it.
